Although Karen Gillan has wrapped filming for her role as Nebula for Guardians of the Galaxy, Djimon Hounsou reportedly has another week of week of work left for the Marvel film.

With a highly eclectic cast playing an even more bizarre range of creatures, Guardians of the Galaxy will be the last Phase 2 film to be released before 2015's The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Since it doesn't focus on one of the superhero collectives' main members, the James Gunn film will seem a little different than other recent works in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

However, it will still mix in the expected elements of levity and heroics, according to Hounsou.

"I'm not really concentrating or thinking about the comedy aspect," Hounsou said of his performance as Korath the Pursuer, according to Screen Crush.  "I'm just thinking about the variety of flavorful work, if you will. And again, the Marvel world always is interesting for anybody, really. And for your son to see you almost like a superhero, I mean I'm not playing a superhero but like, you know, to see you in that sort of like world is quite fun."

Marvel fans can look for Guardians of the Galaxy to hit theaters Aug. 1, 2014.
