Anna Paquin had announced in 2010 that she was bisexual. Although she is married to her "True Blood" co-star Stephen Moyer, and is pregnant with their first child together, the actress still says that being bisexual is meaningful to her.

She recently told Zooey magazine: "I'm sure for some people saying they're bisexual feels less scary than making a statement that they're gay." She continued: "For me, it's not really an issue because I'm someone who believes being bisexual is actually a thing. It's not made up. It's not a lack of decision. It's not being greedy or numerous other ignorant things I've heard at this point. For a bisexual, it's not about gender. That's not the deciding factor for who they're attracted to."

In a public service announcement called  "Give a Damn", Paquin declared that she was bisexual - even though she was already married to her co-star. She explains that her sexuality is a "really minor biographical detail".  She said: "If you're going to talk about some cause in a way that's meaningful, you should identify why it means something to you."

The New Zealand-born actress stars in HBO's "True Blood" as Sookie Stackhouse. She won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in 2008 for her role. Her husband plays vampire Bill Compton.

The actress will grace the cover of Fashion's Summer 2012 issue, which will hit the shelves on May 21. She told the magazine: "I'm not a ballgown kind of girl. I don't think the red carpet is my prom. I prefer edgier cuts and darker designs because they suit me. I've learned how to dress for my shape, and I have to be able to sit, stand, walk properly and shake hands in an outfit without feeling confined. I've spent a lot of time figuring out what looks good for my body for fittings, and I've taken notes. I'm 5'4″ and change! I know I will never be like Gisele [Bundchen], and I also know I will never be a hipless, assless supermodel."
