While on stage in Perth, Australia, One Direction singer Niall Horan showed off his twerking moves and tried to mimic Miley Cyrus by singing lyrics from her hit songs.

A YouTube video taken over the weekend shows Horan, 20, singing "This is our party we can do what we want, it's our party" from We Can't Stop followed by parts of Wrecking Ball before he turned his back to the audience and started shaking his rear end, which was received with loud cheers from the crowd.

That same night on stage, Harry Styles let the band members in a rendition of Backstreet Boys' Everybody (Backstreet's Back) and then Liam Payne did some beatboxing. Watch all the action in the videos below.

Following their performance on Sept. 29, Horan tweeted, "Perth that was great last night , really enjoyed it ! Thank you!"

Cyrus tweeted a picture on April 2 of her producer Mike WiLL Made It in the studio with Horan. The image got fans thinking that the two pop singer's were working on a duet featured on Cyrus' upcoming album, Bangerz. However, when Cyrus revealed the complete tracklist for the album earlier in September, Horan's name was nowhere to be found. Those that she did collaborate with on Bangerz include Britney Spears, Nelly, Future, Big Sean and French Montana. The record will be released on Oct. 8.

One Direction's upcoming album, Midnight Memories, is due in November and tickets are on sale for their 2014 world tour, Where We Are. The band is currently on their Take Me Home world tour.
