Taylor Swift admitted to Glamour UK she “laughed hysterically” after reading a report stating that the she did not think Justin Bieber was good enough to date her best friendCome & Get It singer Selena Gomez.

"Oh, Selena and I laughed hysterically on the phone about that," Swift, 23, told the publication's November 2013 issue.

She did not directly deny that she ever said it and instead replied, “Does it matter?” when asked if it was true that she thought Bieber, 19, was not good enough to date her friend.

Rumors surfaced that Swift did not approve of Bieber earlier in the year and on a number of occassions. The Red singer was caught on video sticking out her tongue at Bieber when he hugged and kissed Gomez, 21, at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards on May 19. An insider told PerezHilton.com that month "[Swift] thinks Justin is a brat and that Selena could do way better."

Different sources told Us Weekly in August that Gomez's on-again, off-again relationship with Bieber was causing a strain on her friendship with Swift.

"Taylor hates him. She thinks Selena makes a mistake every time she reconciles with him," the insider said, adding,"[Bieber] complains Taylor's always telling Selena she can do better."

Swift also spoke to the magazine about her ex-boyfriends. She said she never took the time to acknowledge hurtful comments written by One Direction female fans who were mad at her when she dated the band's singer, Harry Styles.

"I never read one hateful thing said about me by some 12 year old. So I got to live an actual life," she said. "And I've kept that mentality. Just because there's a hurricane going on around you doesn't mean you have to open the window and look at it."'
