Karen Gillan may be done filming for Guardians of the Galaxy, but the actress is not quite ready to end her relationship with Marvel.

While the actress famously shaved her head for the role of Nebula in the new James Gunn film, the former Doctor Who companion would like to do a Guardians and Avengers crossover.

"That would be amazing! I'd be open to that," the 25-year-old told Total Film.

Gillan, however, admitted she has not heard of any mash up films floating around.

As a Phase Two film, Guardians of the Galaxy will link to the world of the Avengers in some form. Considering this, an eventual merge of the two worlds' characters is not an entirely improbable premise.

If Nebula were to find herself in an Avengers plotline, Gillan would like to work with Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man.

"Robert Downey Jr.'s really funny," Gillan said, according to Total Film. "I just love the tone of the Iron Man films. You can really see Robert Downey Jr.'s influence on those films."

However, the dynamic of an Avengers film is different from the new Gunn film in one specific area.

"What's different about Guardians is that everybody is a bad guy," Gillan explained to Total Film. "There's just good guys within the bad guys."

Guardians of the Galaxy will hit the big screen on Aug. 1, 2014.
