Despite being one of the most famous teenagers in the world, Justin Bieber has officially finished high school. The 18-year-old who is constantly making headlines, has revealed in a recent interview with The Telegraph that he passed the high school equivalency exam. "I passed my test - I'm free," he said. Bieber said he was not happy focusing on his studies but went ahead with it to please his mother.

"It was hard doing school and work every day. That was something my mom really wanted me to do, so I had to do it for her. I mean, this kind of lifestyle has given me a different perspective on life," he said in the interview. "I've been able to travel the world. At school, usually you have to do a lot of writing and reading. I'm really not into that stuff. I like to be out there."

The singer plans to release a track on Mother's Day dedicated to his mom. He tweeted on Monday that he will be releasing a song, "Turn To You" as a tribute to his mother and a way to help other moms.

He tweeted: "Think im gonna release #TurnToYOU for my mom this friday for mother's day weekend. The proceeds will go to help other single moms. thanks."

Bieber's mom, Pattie Mallette, fell pregnant with her son when she was just 18 and raised him on her own. He had recently told MTV, ""I wrote a song for my mom. But I'm going to put it out on Mother's Day. "[It's] about the struggles, I say in the song. She had me at like the age I am now. [It's about] just the struggles she went through and how brave she was, and I think the world needed to know that."

Bieber's latest music video, 'Boyfriend', was released last week and his album, "Believe", will be out in June.
