Woody Allen revealed the title of his new film, Magic in the Moonlight, on Oct. 15.

The film is set in the south of France and stars Emma Stone, Colin Firth, Marcia Gay Harden, Jacki Weaver, Hamish Linklater and Eileen Atkins.

A still featuring Harden and Stone from the film has viewers guessing the movie is a period piece. The women are seen standing in a park wearing dresses and hats, with vintage cars in the backdrop. There is also another picture featuring Colin Firth in a three piece suit.

Allen's film Blue Jasmine -- starred Cate Blanchett, Alec Baldwin, Sally Hopkins, Bobby Canavale, and Peter Saarsgard -- is already being considered a strong contender for the Oscars. The movie's still filling up theaters in the United Kingdom months after its release and it's been reported that Blue Jasmine might be Allen's most successful release in the UK.

Allen recently refused to acquiesce to the Indian censor board's guideline, which required him to issue an anti-smoking message before the film. He preferred that the film not be released in the country over having to reconsider his artistic choices.

"Due to content in the film, it cannot be shown in India in its intended manner. Therefore, the film is not scheduled to play there," one of Mr. Allen's representatives wrote via e-mail.

In other new, Stone will be starring in Cameron Crowe's untitled Hawaii project. The romantic comedy will also star Bill Murray, Bradley Cooper and Rachel McAdams.
