Nashville actress Hayden Panettiere, 24, revealed her engagement to boxer Wladimir Klitschko,37, on Wednesday Oct. 9 on the Kelly and Michael show, but she also just spilled to E! News that she designed her engagement ring herself!

Panettiere dished on the design she created with Montblanc Saturday Oct. 19 at the Environmental Media Awards.

"They made me this amazing book where they did a bunch of sketches. I told them my idea over time and tweaking things here and there, it came to fruition."

Daily Mail reported that Panettiere paid $500,000 for the emerald cut ring.

The happy couple met in 2009 at a book party and dated for two years before breaking up. They then got back together in Spring. Engagement rumors for the two started in March 2013 when an unnamed source told US Weekly they were planning a wedding.

But Panettiere admitted she hasn't started planning yet.

"I can't even plan a vacation. I'm lucky I had two hours off today! [I was like] what do I do with myself?"

She joked about how Klitschko popped the question and said, "You don't want know" before revealing it was "Very romantic."

Panettiere donned the green carpet with a sheer lace black and orange dress with criss-cross cutouts revealing parts of her bra. She kept it sleek and classy with a high bun and very light makeup. She was honored with the EMA Futures Award for her six years work with The Whaleman Foundation.
