The Forbes Celebrity 100 list has been released and Jennifer Lopez had topped the list this year. The 42-year-old actress/singer has raised the stakes by being named the top celebrity due to her success and earnings of over $52 million in earnings in the last 12 months alone. Last year, Lady Gaga placed top after earning $90 million.


Despite the American Idol judge's split from her husband last year, she has achieved success after success. She received endorsement deals with L'Oreal and Gilette, created her own line of clothing at Kohl's, and will be returning to the popular talent show for another whopping $20 million next season.

Ranking second on the list this year is Oprah Winfrey. The talk show host was replaced by Lady Gaga last year for the No. 1 spot.

Teen heartthrob Justin Bieber, aged only 18, placed third.

Also on the list this year are Kim and Khloe Kardashian. Kim ranked seventh, with Khloe ranking 73rd. Ashton Kutcher also made the list for the first time, coming in at 51st place.

The Forbes most powerful celebrity list includes categories such as pay, money rank, tv/radio rank, press rank, web rank, and social rank.

Rihanna came fourth on the list, with Britney Spears placing 6th. Katy Perry, Tom Cruise and Steven Spielberg were also in the top ten. The full list can be seen here.
