In a recent interview with Vanity Fair Jason Statham revealed that he has a "great fight sequence" with Dwayne Johnson in Fast and Furious 7.

The actor told the publication that it had only been a few days since he had started shooting for the film and that most of his scenes would be filmed next year. But he did reveal that he would be duelling with none other than The Rock in the upcoming installment.

"I get to work with a lot of great people who I've always thought were decent," he said. "[T]he Rock ... is such a good chap, you know. We're doing a great fight sequence. And working with a pro like that was amazing."

Statham also suggested that he wasn't too worried and nervous about working on the film.

"It's nice being part of something so big because the pressure is off," he told teh publication. "It's not just me."

Recently Jason Statham also spoke to Moviefone about the film. The identity of Statham's character in the film still remains a secret and it seemed like he was not planning on giving any information away soon.

When he was asked if he was going to play a bad guy in the seventh installment, the actor pretty much evaded the question.

"Well, I am doing something for the Fast & Furious franchise, but I can't talk about what that is," he said.

In the last film of the franchise, Statham played the role of villain Owen Shaw's brother Ian. Dominic Toretto (Diesel) and his crew took Owen down and Ian was left avenging his brother's death.

The publication suggested that he did kill somebody in the last film, which could lead fans to infer that he might be playing an antagonistic role in this one. Statham seemed to have been left sligtly stumped by that implication.

"Ahhhh! The cat's out of the bag! You'll see. The studio's like, "Don't talk about 'Fast'!" he responded.

Fast and Furious 7 will take off from where Fast and Furious 6 left off. Wan took over the director's role from Justin Lin, who announced earlier in the year that he will step away from directing the franchise.

The cast for the seventh installment reprising their roles include Luke Evans, Gibson, Walker, Ludacris and Jordana Brewster. UFC Womens Bantam weight champion Ronda Rousey and ONG Bak star Tony Jaa will also star in the film.

Fast and Furious 7 hits theaters in July 2014.
