Numerous major spoilers for Man of Steel 2 may have been leaked this week, though the validity of these spoilers is still in question.

A user on an internet forum claiming to know a recently-fired member of Man of Steel 2 production has posted a series of huge details related to the plot of the film. The user posted on NeoGaf, which was discovered by prominent entertainment insider site Latino-Review. Some of the spoilers the user posted included details on the villains, the extent of Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman's (Henry Cavill) conflicts and the ending of the film.

(POTENTIALLY) MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD:

Batman agrees to a deal with the UN to stop Superman from destroying another city, as he did at the end of Man of Steel. Meanwhile, Superman is dealing with other conflicts, including with the film's villains, Lex Luthor and Metallo, both adapted from the Superman comics.

Lex Luthor tends to be in the shadows throughout Man of Steel 2, and Lois Lane (Amy Adams) is investigating the evil businessman. The user claims that he does not have much screen time with Superman.

There is some backstory for Batman, including information on the falling out between him and Robin. The Batcave will be featured in the film and is "super cool looking," while his Batmobile is similar to the one seen in the Tim Burton movies (Batman and Batman Returns).

There will be a few other Justice League characters in Man of Steel 2, but the user only mentions two by name: Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), who was already announced and Aquaman. However, Aquaman will not go by the name Aquaman in the film. He is present in the film because the "world engine" in the ocean did something bad to the fish.

Meanwhile, Wonder Woman disguises herself as a Wayne Enterprises investor in order to retrieve and item that belongs to tribe of Amazonians.

At the very end of the film, the user claims that Metallo "kills" Clark Kent and that the Daily Planet is bought by Lex Luthor for his own personal gain. In the final moments of the film, Superman is seen living in exile while the Justice League officially forms.

None of these spoilers have been officially confirmed, but many Latino-Review commenters have noted that they seem plausible.

Man of Steel 2 is scheduled for release in theaters on May 6, 2016.
