Garbanza is Peter Florrick's (Chris Noth) in-house ethics counsel and her pregnancy was written into the storyline for season 5. In fact the baby bump on screen did threaten to stir things up in the Florrick household. But that rumor has now been dispelled as Garbanza later revealed in a another episode that she was naming her child after the famous director Peter Bogdanovich.
