As if the tail end of The Bachelor couldn't get anymore intense, the show's long running host revealed that the goodbyes will only get even more "brutal" from now on.

Sharleen Quits 'The Bachelor' Leaving Juan Pablo in Tears

Host Chris Harrison told E! News, "[Juan Pablo] cares deeply for all of these women...there's a lot more crying. He's an emotional man. He wears his heart on his sleeve--good, bad, ugly. The rest of these goodbyes are brutal, whether it's a woman making the decision or he's making the decisions, it's tough. This is not the Sean Lowe, just cruise right into the harbor, smooth-sailing happy ending kind of show."

Harrison did admit that Juan Pablo is not the most censored bachelor the network has seen as he isn't one to hold his tongue. He added that cultural differences are difficult for Juan Pablo, who is Latino.

Juan Pablo Struggles on Hometown Dates

Harrison said, "He has no filter! He just doesn't understand why everybody gets so upset about things."

Harrison continued and said that being a single dad definitely comes into play and contributes to it being a difficult season.

"You're with this beautiful woman and you're having an intimate date and you get into that moment and you share a kiss or you share a whatever and you quickly realize, 'Oh crap, I have a daughter. I have a family. Everyone's watching.'"

He added that the show didn't always reveal how many women really wanted to call it quits on the show.

"If we had a girl that wasn't sure the Bachelor might have known she wasn't sure and at the rose ceremony, she didn't get a rose and she goes home. I guess it's a way of glossing over it and not really showing it because that's just not what the show was."
