The Internet was abuzz this week after a potential photo of the Batsuit for Man of Steel 2 was posted on IMDb.

Michael B. Jordan Tapped For Role In Batman vs. Superman & Other DC Films?

With Ben Affleck set to take on the role of Batman in Man of Steel 2, the Internet has clamoring to see the star actor in the new Batsuit. A new photo of the potential Batsuit was posted on IMDb this week, but most are claiming that it is a fake.

Forbes film blogger Mark Hughes took to Twitter after the photo was released to dispel the rumors.

Superman Suit Has "Minor Tweaks"

"That black and white photo on IMDB is a fake, folks. Not the real batsuit, just a manip," he explained to his Twitter followers.

Hughes followed up this week with advice for fans desperate to see the new superhero suits of Batman and Wonder Woman.

"Let your first exposure to the new batsuit & Wonder Woman be an epic moment w/high quality official images, the way it's intended to be," he tweeted.

Man of Steel 2 features the return of several actors in their original Man of Steel roles. Henry Cavill is reprising his role as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.

Meanwhile, there are also many actors joining the Superman franchise for its sequel. In addition to Affleck's Batman/Bruce Wayne, Man of Steel 2 features Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons as Alfred, the butler of Bruce Wayne.

Man of Steel 2 is scheduled for release in theaters on May 6, 2016.
