The No Doubt singer will reportedly join the reality competition show when season 7 starts filming in June, according to TMZ. Stefani will sit alongside Pharrell Williams, who has already been announced as Cee Lo Green's replacement. Original coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are also expected to return.

Aguilera, who appeared on the NBC show for several seasons since its premiere in 2011, won't be gone for too long. Reports say the multiplatinum recording artist is coming back for season 8.

The 33-year-old announced her second pregnancy in February, a week after her longtime boyfriend Matt Rutler popped the question.

This won't be the first time the superstar takes a break from the NBC show to focus on her family. Last summer she explained that her son Max prompted her first hiatus from the show during season 4, in which Shakira took her place.

"I'm a mom, when the cameras go off, I put on sweats and a t-shirt," she told reporters during the NBC sessions at the Television Critics Association Summer Tour in California. "I needed some time to do that. He starts kindergarten this fall, so I'm excited about that."

She added, "I have to take breaks and stay connected with myself. I think it's important so that you can be your best on camera."
