Miriam Weeks, the porn star and Duke University student, gave some more details on her life ever since her work in the X-rated business became public, including critique and what's happening to her friend that outed her.

Miriam Weeks Receives Criticism From Other Porn Stars?

In a live interview with FOX 411 published on Saturday, Weeks, who also goes by "Belle Knox," dished on the people who have turned against her, most of which are women.

"I think that women resent me more," Weeks said. "But I do get a lot of like the slut shaming from guys."

The porn actress also mentioned that Duke is a place for higher discussion, and she appreciates other people expressing their thoughts.

"I have had a lot of critique come to me kind of from the anti-porn feminists of Duke, and sometimes there's a way to get your point out there," Weeks said. "And I totally appreciate opinions, I love when people can argue with me or whatever, but there's a way to do it without attacking my personal character."

The person who revealed Weeks as a porn star to the public was one of her male friends who is apparently receiving dangerous threats, which Weeks does not support.

"It's not acceptable that he's being harassed," she said. "I've actually released kind of a plea for my fans to stop harassing him."

"He apologized for it, at the end of the day it's something between me and him," Weeks continued. "I've reached a place in my life where I forgive him for what happened. But yeah, I don't want him to be harassed."
