Another member of DC's Justice League has been cast and will appear in Man of Steel 2, a.k.a. Batman vs. Superman.

The superhero with superhuman strength known as Cyborg will be in Man of Steel 2, according to a new report by The Hollywood Reporter. Cyborg will likely be played by theater actor Ray Fisher, as the actor is in negotiations for the role, which would be his first feature-length film.

Fisher is known for his theater work in such roles as Muhammad Ali in Fetch Clay, Make Man as well as a role in Macbeth.

Before turning into Cyborg, Victor Stone is a successful football player whose star is rising. His father works for S.T.A.R. Labs where a freak accident makes Victor lose most of his body, which causes his father and his team to reconstruct him and essentially turn him into a cyborg.

Cyborg is the fourth Justice League member to appear in Man of Steel 2 after Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot).

In addition to Affleck, Cavill, Gadot and now Fisher, Man of Steel 2 stars Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, butler to Bruce Wayne/Batman. Holly Hunter is also expected to star in the film as a "female Alfred" type of character.

Man of Steel 2 is scheduled for release in theaters on May 6, 2016.
