The nominations for the 2014 Tony Awards have been announced.

TV & Film Actors Who've Performed On Stage

The nominations for the performers and productions who could win themselves the award were announced on Tuesday with some of the most popular actors in consideration including Neil Patrick Harris for his leading performance in Hedwig and the Angry Inch and Idina Menzel for her role in If/Then.

Hedwig and the Angry Inch has landed itself eight nominations, including Best Revival of a Musical, Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical (Harris), Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical (Lena Hall), Best Director of a Musical (Michael Mayer), Best Costume Design of a Musical (Arianne Phillips), Best Scenic Design of a Musical (Julian Crouch), Best Lighting Design of a Musical (Kevin Adams) and Best Sound Design of a Musical (Tim O'Heir).
