It looks as though Bethenny Frankel might be leaving the celebrity spotlight altogether after having a pretty disastrous year with the cancellation of her daytime talk show and losing her custody battle case with her soon-to-be ex-husband, Jason Hoppy.

The Skinnygirl mogul was hoping for full custody of the ex-couple's 4-year-old daughter Bryn, but instead a judge in their court case has granted both Frankel and Hoppy split custody of their child. According to reports, Frankel left the Manhattan Family Courtroom on Wednesday in a bitter mood following the ruling.

"My client is delighted that this custody dispute has been resolved," Hoppy's lawyer Bernard Clair said. "The child will have the benefit of being raised by both parents; and most importantly his daughter will no longer be at the mercy of a high profile courtroom battle."

"Jason wishes Bethenny only the best of luck, and he looks forward to sharing with her all of the joyous occasions, milestones and blessings that will be coming up in his daughter's future," Clair added.

Following the bad publicity that she's been receiving because of her divorce case, rumor has it that Frankel will be keeping a low profile in the coming months in order to repair her damaged reputation and hopefully win back her fans after a little break.

It's also been rumored that her SkinnyGirl brand has been taking a hit in profits because of Frankel's negative press. Her investors have pleaded with her to settle in her custody case with Hoppy, but Frankel refused to listen.

Frankel and Hoppy announced their separation in December 2012 after two years of marriage.
