Another actor has joined the rapidly growing cast of D.C.'s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and he has previous experience in a superhero property.

Scoot McNairy, who starred alongside Ben Kingsley in Marvel: One Shot: All Hail the King, will be appearing in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in an unspecified role, according to a new Deadline report. He would be one of few actors to appear in both Marvel and D.C. Cinematic Universes.

McNairy is currently on the AMC series Halt & Catch Fire, while he has had supporting roles in back-to-back Best Picture winners Argo and 12 Years a Slave.

The Deadline report notes that Warner Bros. has not yet confirmed McNairy's casting, though the report seems to be fairly confident in him being in the film.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice features an all star cast that includes Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne's butler.

Jason Momoa was also recently announced to be playing Aquaman. Holly Hunter will be appearing in an unknown role while Tao Okamoto is rumored to be playing Mercy Graves, assistant to Lex Luthor.

Production is currently underway in Detroit.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled for release in theaters on May 6, 2016.
