A UFC heavyweight might be joining the cast of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, assuming he can find a way to do so.

Tyron Woodley, who recently faced off for a chance at the UFC Welterweight title, is said to be in talks to join Batman v Superman. Woodley spoke on the Great MMA Debate podcast recently about some upcoming film roles that may be in the works.

"I've got a Marvel and a DC project I should be able to jump on and continue my career there as well." he explained before launching into an explanation about getting calls to join Batman v Superman.

"I've got some calls about doing that so I would love to take advantage of that if the timeframe works out," he said. "There's another movie called Ant-Man that's coming out and I might be able to get some work on that as well. I'd like to do both and I think I'll be able to."

It is unknown what type of role Woodley would have in Batman v Superman, though with such a big blockbuster with a presumed large cast, he could be anyone.

He has appeared in such films as Olympus Has Fallen and such shows as Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Batman v Superman is currently beginning production in Detroit, which is expected to be the primary location for the film.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled for release in theaters on May 6, 2016.
