Jason Momoa, who is suggested to be playing Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, recently discussed the idea of playing a superhero and how he would lean more towards antihero than superhero.

Statue Of Superman in Batman vs. Superman Reveals Potentially Huge Spoiler

Momoa was at the Evolution Expo in Oakland, Calif. where he attended as a panelist, as reported by Point of Geeks. When asked about possibly portraying a superhero in the future (amid strong but unconfirmed reports he would be playing Aquaman), his response was intriguing:

"I think it would be really, really fun to play a superhero. You know? I've always talked about, like, what's your favorite. I mean I love Lobo so... but ah... You know. It would be awesome," Momoa admitted. "I don't know how they do it but... Yea, absolutely I think it would...I just don't really see myself as a superhero. Yeah, no I mean, they're kind of written a little different. I don't know. I just... you know. I'm not wearing a lot of the...I don't see myself in tights a lot. And ah...I'm more of a, I don't know, an anti-hero if you will. In life. So, not the smiling, parading to saving the world kind of guy. Yeah, the Hulk would have been fun!"

Aquaman Considered A 'Warlord' & 'King of the Seven Seas' In Batman vs. Superman?

Based on the amount of pauses and clarifications, it seems that Momoa may have been skirting around the widely reported news of his casting as Aquaman, considering Warner Bros. has not announced this news yet. Additionally, it may speak to the rumors that Aquaman in Batman v Superman would be not as "heroic" in the traditional sense, and more out for personal revenge.

The rumors stated that Aquaman would be furious with the destruction caused by the World Engine at the end of Man of Steel and would actively be seeking retribution in Batman v Superman, according to HitFix.

However, it remains to be seen if Aquaman is even appearing in Batman v Superman and in what capacity he would be if he was in the 2016 film. Warner Bros. will likely be making announcements in the coming months, and potentially at Comic-Con this month.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled for release in theaters on May 6, 2016.
