As last season's leading man on ABC's The Bachelor, Juan Pablo Galavis created quite a bit of controversy amongst fans. Now, he is making waves again with a joke online.

NBC News Anchor Calls Juan Pablo Galavis 'Troubled' In New Interview

Yesterday Pattie Malette, mother to singing sensation Justin Bieber, took to Twitter to request that parents of other stars would agree with. "Dear Sweet Beliebers," wrote Mallette, "Please stop telling me my son makes you horny. Its NOT something a mom wants to hear. Love Mom #ThingsYouDontTellMom".

While most fans were a little surprised by her forwardness, Galavis decided to have a little fun by responding "You MAKE me horny @pattiemallette LOL".

'The Bachelor' Stars Get Affectionate Online

Galavis' online followers met the statement primarily with confusion, many of them not having seen Malette's original post. Shortly after Galavis tweeted, a fan jumped to his defense. "It's a JOKE people! Read her last tweet" wrote @StephyyyO, which Galavis promptly reposted, adding "one that GOT it".

Malette has not responded to The Bachelor star's comment and so it is uncertain as to whether or not she found it amusing or offensive.

Galavis' comments often got him in trouble with the public during his time on ABC and he has since become openly defensive against public scrutiny.

During the season finale of the reality series, Galavis causes further controversy by offering current girlfriend Nikki Ferrell an "I like you" and a rose without a declaration of love or proposal of marriage.
