The Simpsons will be beginning its 26th season later this year, and all 552 episodes that have currently aired will be marathoned this summer on FXX, plus they've already had a movie.

Which Simpsons Character Will Die Next Season?

As such, some might think there is nothing more than The Simpsons can do to surprise their fans. Well, maybe not, because as the Rolling Stone reported on Thursday, The Simpsons is prepping a live show.

On September 13, 14, and 15, there will be a show, entitled The Simpsons Take the Bowl, taking place at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. It shall be a big, star studded event, hosted by Hank Azaria, the voice of many Simpsons characters, such as Apu and Moe. Nancy Cartwright and Yeardley Smith, the voices of Bart and Lisa respectively, will be there, as will Jon Lovitz, Beverly D'Angelo, and current star of the music business Weird Al Yankovic, amongst others. Show creator Matt Groening will also be there to talk to the fans, and alongside scenes from the show, never before seen clips will be added. It's like "The Simpsons 138th Episode Spectacular" but even more extravagant.
