Fans at Tim McGraw's Atlanta, Ga. concert back in July witnessed an altercation between the country singer and a woman who grabbed his leg while he was up on stage.

Earlier this month the fan, now confirmed as Jesslyn Taylor, had declared that she wanted a public apology from the star and had even considered legal action against him. According to Country Weekly on Thursday, Taylor ultimately decided not to take the legal route.

"The matter between Tim McGraw and Jesslyn Taylor stemming from an Atlanta concert has been mutually resolved the old-fashioned way: with a simple conversation," read the official statement released by McGraw's team.

The incident imminently blew up in the media after hand-held videos from the concert started appearing online following the July concert. Reports began coming in that McGraw had "slapped" Taylor, while others insisted he was merely waving in her direction. The musician quickly released a statement insisting that he had only been trying to protect himself in "swatting" the woman away, fearful that she would rip his pants or disturb his balance.

While the details of the "conversation" between McGraw and Taylor have not been released, Taylor's lawyer has made no further announcements regarding her desire to take action against the star.

McGraw continues to tour the country promoting his new album Sundown Heaven Town, which is set to be released on September 16.
