Austin Mahone got his wish! After previously saying he just wanted to win one Teen Choice Award, the 18-year-old did just that on Sunday night.

Mahone wrote on Instagram Sunday, "So blessed that I won a TCA!! I've always wanted one :) THANK U for voting me Breakout Artist I love u!"

Mahone couldn't be at the TCA's because of this summer tour, but did tape an intro for one of the awards. Mahone was nominated for five awards in total including Choice Male Artist, Choice Single Male Artist, Choice Smile, Choice Hottie and of course Choice Music Breakout Artist.

In the Choice Single Male Artist, Mahone was nominated for his song Mmm Yeah. He was up against heavy hitters like Happy by Pharrell Williams, Sing by Ed Sheeran, Stay With Me by Sam Smith and Talk Dirty by Jason Derulo featuring 2 Chainz. For Choice Music Breakout Artist, Mahone beat artists Becky G, Rita Ora, Cody Simpson and Zendaya.

Mahone kicked off his summer tour in July with openers Fifth Harmony, Shawn Mendes and The Vamps.

"It's going great and I'm having a lot of fun," Mahone told Just Jared Jr. last week. "We have a ping pong table and a basketball hoop, so we're always playing around and having a good time."

Mahone's next tour stop will be August 15 in Mashantucket, CT at Foxwoods Resort Casino.
