Austin Mahone may not be dating Camila Cabello from Fifth Harmony, but that doesn't mean he can't hang out with her.

Fifth Harmony is currently opening up for Mahone on his summer tour and last week, the singer posted a pic of himself and Cabello hanging out on his Instagram account.

Cabello had previously disclosed to her fans that despite rumors the two were just friends and not a couple. On her Twitter account in August, Cabello set the Mahone romance rumors straight.

"THERES NOTHING TO BE FIGHTING OVER BECAUSE AUSTIN AND I ARE JUST FRIENDS. and to his mahomies," Cabello wrote, "i support his happiness as much as you do, so nothin to be stressed about." Cabello said she doesn't normally address rumors, but when it comes to her fans she knows they're just being protective and same with the 'Mahomies,' so that's why she tweeted about the rumors that keep popping up.

This is especially when Mahone posts cute pictures of the two smiling and looking happy. Mahone had previously said, however, that sometimes he just does it for the reaction.

"We're just friends," Mahone told Cambio.com in June. "It's pretty funny though," Mahone said about romance speculation anytime they're with each other. "I remember we were each other and we were like let's just post a picture and watch everyone freak out.

"It's pretty funny watching all the comments roll in," Mahone continued. "It's like a war between the Mahomies and the Harmonizers."
