Kirstie Alley has always been known for her fluctuating weight. Last year, she lost a hundred pounds while appearing on "Dancing With the Stars."  The 61-year-old actress had claimed that her weight loss was due to a product called "Organic Liaison"and made appearances on QVC and other media to endorse and promote the product.

"I can assure you that if you follow this program, you'll get healthier, lose weight, and not be 'annoyingly' hungry," Alley had said in her endorsements.

However, Organic Liaison is now being sued by an unhappy dieter who claims that the product does not work and that Alley had simply lost the weight by dancing it off.

The lawsuit was filed by Marina Abramyan last Friday. According to E!News, Abramyan claims that DWTS "tracked Alley's weight loss as a result of hours and hours of dancing every day for several months." The lawsuit claims that the weight loss was not due to the supplements but the "result of an above average exercise regimen and extremely low calorie diet." She also believes that Organic Liaison used false advertising and deceptive photos of Alley.

The official complaint also states: "It is commonly known, and indeed a scientific fact, that if you are increasing exercise while decreasing caloric intake, you will lose weight. There is no magic pill or supplement that causes weight loss."

Organic Liaison says the claims against them are "patently false", according to E!News.
