Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) may finally get his hand back in the upcoming fourth episode of ABC's Once Upon a Time, allowing him to touch Emma (Jennifer Morrison) with both hands.

Snow Queen Could Be First 'Purely Evil Villain' In Series

ABC has revealed the plot synopsis for the fourth episode of the season, titled The Apprentice. The episode centers on Hook trying to get his hand back as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) deals in magic, both in the past and the present.

"After Emma asks Hook out on a real first date, Hook visits Mr. Gold and asks for his hand to be reattached so that he can embrace her with both hands," the synopsis reads. "But magic always comes with a price."

Flashing back to the Fairy Tale Land that was, "Rumplestiltskin is after a magical box that the Sorcerer's apprentice is guarding, and he may use Elsa's [Georgina Haig] sister Anna [Elizabeth Lail] to help him get it."

The Sorcerer's apprentice is a reference to one of the more famous scenes from Disney's Fantasia, which features Mickey Mouse as said Sorcerer's apprentice wearing the magic hat, which was shown in the Season 4 premiere of OUAT.

Back in the present, Regina (Lana Parrilla), Henry (Jared Gilmore) and Mary Margaret/Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) concern themselves with unfreezing Marian (Christie Laing).

"Henry and Mary Margaret try to offer hope to Regina when she becomes frustrated over not being able to find a cure to save a frozen Marian, and Will Scarlet [Michael Socha] attempts to break into the Storybrooke library to find a special book," the synopsis reads.

Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
