Hollosy's attorney Bernie Grimm said Hollosy was in a car accident in September and has not been able to work since and has had to undergo back surgery The Washington Post reported.

Grimm asked Judge Wynn to consider Hollosy's injuries, as well as the fact that Hollosy had no prior criminal record, and asked for probation. "We acknowledge what happened in this case," Grimm said.

Brown's bodyguard was sentenced to a year of probation and 24 hours of community service. Judge Wynn also sentenced Hollosy to 90 days in jail, but suspended the sentence. She also ordered him to pay $50 to the District's crime victim's fund.

Brown pleaded guilty in September and served time in prison.

Judge Wynn said she wanted Hollosy to spend his community service talking with young people about violence, but that could be determined later. Hollosy was given permission to perform his community service in California, where he lives.
