So far, Rick (Jacob Young) and Maya (Karla Mosely) have been successful getting everything they want in their plot for total control, but their ability to outsmart and maneuver around all of their critics will face a new challenge on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Ridge Poses A New Threat To Rick

They've had the critics of their relationship and the way they're running the company that they expected-Caroline (Linsey Godfrey), Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), Carter (Lawrence St. Victor), Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer), Aly (Ashlyn Pearce) and pretty much everyone else related to the Forrester family. But they haven't yet encountered the kind of opposition that can only come from a Spencer-specifically, Bill (Don Diamont)-until now.

After finally learning that his niece's marriage has ended because Rick duped everyone and decided to be with Maya, Bill will feel his fierce pride in keeping members of his family protected from hurt and pain flare up again-and he will go to confront the two who inflicted the feelings on Caroline. And while he won't be able to go and talk to Rick, he will be able to get a hold of Maya-who he will insult by telling her that her newfound status is only temporary, and reminding her of the background she came from before she became a model.

Ridge Convinces Caroline To Be With Him

"I'm the only one home," Maya says to Bill in a preview clip for the Monday, Jan, 19 episode.

"I've got a message for you," Bill replies. "Home? No. You're just the resident squatter."

Bill's new involvement in the drama could bring some new twists to the tale-especially since he has previously used sneaky tactics and threats to get the things he has wanted most in his life-and could resort to using them once again.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
