George Clooney, 51, has a reputation for being quite the playboy, but his rep claimed that he is still together with former "Dancing With The Stars" girlfriend Stacy Keibler, 32.

"A story published by a London tabloid, 'The Sun', concerning George Clooney and Stacy Keibler is not true. Total fabrication designed to sell newspapers," the actor's rep, Stan Rosenfield, told E! News on Sept. 11.

The Sun article stated that the Oscar-winning actor got "cold feet" when it came to settling down with Keibler, and that Keibler told friends her and Clooney were heading for splitsville, according to Yahoo! News.

"She said George wants to be on his own again and has no intention of getting married," a source told the tabloid. "Stacy hoped they would be together long-term. It was a big breakthrough to spend time with his parents. But over the last few weeks George has pulled away from her."

The couple were together for a large chunk of the summer; they spent several weeks at his Italian villa on Lake Como and took a scooter ride in Lugano, Switzerland.

They began dating in the fall of 2011, making their first public appearance as a couple during Clooney's "The Descendants" premiere in New York City in October.

Keibler, however, attended a Sept 11 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week show solo.

During the Vera Wang show, E! News asked if Clooney would join her at any of the week's events, to which she replied, "I don't know, ask him."
