Britney Spears unveiled a bold new look this weekend.

The singer and "X Factor" judge turned up at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, and her blonde locks were accented with vibrant blue, teal and hot pink tips. The bright colors truly popped against Spears' understated little black dress.

But Spears didn't leave the bold 'do in Las Vegas. The "Hold It Against Me" songstress wore the rainbow-inspired hairstyle out and about again in Calabasas, Calif., on Monday.

But what would Spears' fellow "X Factor" judge and creator of the show Simon Cowell have to say about the bold look?

Recent reports have claimed Cowell has become upset with Spears' appearance during "X Factor" tapings, and he's told her to clean it up and look her best. At a recent taping, Spears appeared to have decided against wearing a bra, and that set Cowell off, according to The New York Post.

"It was made clear she is expected to be impeccably dressed and made-up for the show. And none of those ragged hair extensions."

The Post reported that representatives for the singing competition show denied that Cowell demanded Spears fire her stylist, but sources said Spears has turned up "looking amazing" at every show since the dispute with her boss.

Other than that incident, the relationship between Cowell and Spears has appeared to be smooth and agreeable. Cowell praised Spears' judging skills leading up to the "X Factor" premiere, and the famously mean-spirited Englishman even said Spears could give him a run for his money when it comes to harsh feedback.

"She's very unpredictable. She has taken this very seriously and she's surprisingly quite mean," Cowell said. "In the past we've had judges that never say no. [Spears] can't say no quick enough on this show. She's quite difficult to please."
