The 65-year-old "dermatologist" to the stars - who previously worked with big names such as Madonna and Stephanie Seymour in the past - died in his Miami mansion on Sunday.

According to the Daily Mail on Monday, Brandt was said to have been upset recently over rumors comparing him to a character on the Netflix show, Dr. Franf, although it is still unknown what the cause of his death was.

What's more, The New York Post also wrote a column last month comparing the real-life doctor to the fictional doctor on Tina Fey's new comedic offering.

Miami Herald reporter Lesley Abravanel told the Daily Mail that sources close to the doctor say that he apparently committed suicide by hanging himself at his home. The allegations are yet to be confirmed.

The Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner Department confirmed early on Monday morning that an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.

Brandt was well-known in many of Hollywood's A-list circles, and counted stars such as Marc Jacobs, Tim Robbins, Kelly Ripa and many more as his close friends.
