While Aaron Hernandez may have been slapped with more charges and upcoming court appearances that should give him low spirits, the former NFL star is apparently doing great behind bars.

Aaron Hernandez Due Back In Court For Yet Another Murder Trial Come January!

The 25-year-old landed behind bars for a life sentence back in April when he was found guilty of first-degree murder of Odin Lloyd.

The former New England Patriots tight end has been on suicide watch and landed himself in a prison fight, yet he's happy since he has pen pals.

Aaron Hernandez's Lawyers Filed A Motion Claiming A Juror Was Unfairly Influenced

On Tuesday, TMZ Sports obtained a hand-written letter the convicted murderer sent to a female admirer.

In the letter he initially apologizes for the delay in replying due to the "numerous letters" he receives "daily."

He appeared very polite in the letter, telling the fan that it was "very nice" of her to write to him.

Hernandez even revealed that her letter "put a smile on my face."

He told this pen pal that he's "doing well" behind bars "and will always."

The former pro football player even hoped she and her "loved ones" are doing well.

He then thanked her once again for her "support and concern" over him.

The female fan apparently hinted that she wanted to visit him to which Hernandez replied at the bottom of the letter, "P.S. You should have asked, I would have accepted, but don't regret it, everything happens for a reason. lol" with a winking smiley face.
