The 2012 presidential election divided the nation and left many in tears of joy.

However, Victoria Jackson was left with tears of sadness over President Obama's reelection.

The comic actress and "Saturday Night Live" alumni took to Twitter to voice her grief.

"I can't stop crying. America died" Jackson posted as a part of her Twitter rant. "Thanks a lot Christians for not showing up. You disgust me."

Jackson was one of the most outspoken celebrities during the election and a firm hater of Democrat Barack Obama.

In her autobiography, "Is My Bow Too Big? How I went from Saturday Night Live to the Tea Party," Jackson shares her personal beliefs about being a devout Christian and Tea Party supporter.

Victoria also has her own internet show called "The Victoria Jackson Show" where she routinely commented on the status of the election.

During an interview in 2008, Jackson appeared on Bill O'Reilly's Fox News talk show and talked about her hatred of Obama, saying, "I think Obama is a communist."

She added: "I've read the book 1984 by George Orwell, twice. And I was walking through the airport and every magazine had Obama's picture on it. Every one. And I turned on the TV and every channel had him on it. It's like Castro in Cuba or the guy in China or Saddam Hussein. There are pictures everywhere!"

During the 2012 election, the outspoken actress brought up the topic of "legitimate rape" on her web show saying, "If I was raped, I would have the baby and think of it as God making a blessing out of something bad."

During an interview last month on "The Howard Stern Show," Jackson told Stern that while she was on "Saturday Night Live" she was a Christian, but she only got political after she left the show.
