Khloe Kardashian and husband Lamar Odom have been happily married for three years, but they still have to deal with their busy schedules keeping them apart during holidays.

The couple will face that obstacle this week as they are forced to spend Thanksgiving apart this year. Kardashian will be in California, while her husband will be in Brooklyn, New York, to play a basketball game with his team, the Los Angeles Clippers.

Kardashian recently spoke to People Magazine and said that while she wishes she could be with Odom for Thanksgiving, she understands that his work obligations mean sometimes that is impossible.

"Honestly, I'm fine with it, because I'm obsessed with my husband - in a healthy way - but he's on the road. He has a game in Brooklyn, so I don't feel guilty, like, 'I'm not going to be able to cook for him,'" she said. "So, he'll be on the road. He'll be working anyway. So, I feel better about that, and my sister Kim will be here. And I think my mom will come here that night, too. Thanksgiving at 'The X Factor.'"

Kardashian recently took up co-hosting duties for live episodes of "The X Factor" along with former "Saved by the Bell" star Mario Lopez.

The reality star, who appears with her family on E!'s "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," said she is working hard to perfect her hosting skills and be the best she can be on the show.

"I'm still learning. I'm still just trying to get better, and better every week," she said. "I like constructive criticism, but still it's only a one or two-hour show, and there's still so many people. I just don't have time to just talk and be myself yet. And right now, it's so technical. I feel like, when more people go, there's going to be more time to fill. And I feel like that's where I can kind of do my thing."
