Lindsay Lohan is certainly no stranger to the tabloids, and the latest story that has landed her in the pages of gossip magazines is that the actress is planning to adopt a son.

Lohan was asked about the rumor during a recent interview with "Access Hollywood." When the hosts asked if she was planning to adopt and said the information came from a "friend" of hers, Lohan said she had no idea who that friend could be.

"I need to find out who this friend is because that's been going on my whole life of people telling things that I think are my friends," she said. "That's no one's business."

She also spoke about how she felt about playing international icon Elizabeth Taylor in her upcoming Lifetime movie "Liz & Dick."

"It's really nerve-wracking to play someone that's such an incredible force, and a wonderful woman, so I was kind of nervous to see what people would think of it," Lohan said. "You can never actually be a clone of the person, so you have to bring some of yourself into it. I was lucky enough, because I do relate to Elizabeth Taylor in a lot of ways.

Another high-profile interview Lohan did recently was with Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show" on Tuesday evening. Leno kept his interview questions light for the most part, focusing largely on Lohan's work in "Liz & Dick." But Lohan did remark on her personal life, at least briefly.

Leno asked about the recent revelation that Lohan has a half sister she didn't know about from a relationship her father Michael Lohan had with another woman. Lohan insisted she had never heard of the alleged half sister until recently, but she did make one remark about the situation.

"I could give her one word of advice: Good luck with my dad," Lohan said, adding that she is no longer in contact with her father and has no relationship with him.
