Leah Messer went on a rant against Teen Mom 2 last week, but why?

After watching her dinner conversation with Jeremy Calvert play out on the show, Messer took to Twitter, where she called the show "fake," and according to a new report, it was due to what she felt was bad editing.

"Leah wrote that because the show cut out everything on Jeremy's side," an industry source told PEOPLE Magazine on Thursday. "He was the one who was begging her to come back and to give him another chance. He was the one that coordinated the date and to try to make it work."

During the scene in question, Messer admitted to being tipsy while discussing the end of her marriage with Calvert. Messer also admitted to wondering where they would be if Calvert had stuck by her throughout her May 2015 stint in rehab.

After the episode aired, Messer posted the following message on Twitter.

"The show was edited to make it seem like she was the one doing it and didn't show anything about Jeremy, and she wanted to set the record straight," the magazine's source explained.

One week prior, Messer shared another series of posts on Twitter, in which she seemingly threatened to quit the show.

"It's so sad how the person behind the editing can even live a happy life by editing to manipulate the audience watching. It makes me feel like my story just isn't enough," Messer wrote. "It hurts to feel BETRAYED by the ones I THOUGHT I could trust with my story. It goes to show you how 'THE ENTERTAINMENT WORLD' really is. I hope to continue to share my story but I REFUSE to allow it to be twisted for the benefit of a NETWORK!"
