Women had long been talking amongst themselves about Harvey Weinstein's alleged misbehavior but came out in open only after Ashley Judd opened up on her harrowing story with the ex-Miramax co-founder.

Many admit having felt pressured to maintain a friendly relationship with Weinstein for the sake of their career, Here is a list of who all declined Weinstein's advances on account of sexual harassment and his inappropriate behavior with women

Gwyneth Paltrow:

The "Emma" actress told The New York Times about the incident, in an interview on Oct 10, she said that Weinstein placed his hand on her leg and asked her to move to the bedroom for massages.

Paltrow revealed that she was petrified by Weinstein's sexual advance, he made in his suite at the Peninsula Beverly Hills hotel during what she believed to be a work meeting.

She came in support of women allegedly harassed by the movie mogul, "We're at a point in time when women need to send a clear message that this is over," she said.

Paltrow told her then-boyfriend Brad-Pitt about the incident

She was hired by Weinstein for a lead in "Emma" and was in a relationship with Brad-Pitt during that time. Brad-Pitt had confronted the producer and Weinstein called screaming at her for she had revealed this to her boyfriend as It was expected to be kept a secret.

Angelina Jolie

Though the "Mr and Mrs Smith" actress never revealed much over the incident, she happened to admit her bad experience with Weinstein.

Jolie chose not to work with Weinstein

Speaking to The New York Times, on Oct 10, Jolie said she chose not to work with him and warned others when they did.She claimed to have declined Weinstein's sexual advances in a hotel room in late 1990's.

Heather Graham

Heather Graham stated her discomfort with Weinstein in the early 2000s on the Variety magazine.

She told that  Weinstein mentioned about an agreement he had with his wife that he could sleep with other women whenever she was out of town.

According to her, it was a subtext for she had been to his office to be cast in one of Weinstein's movie.

She asked a friend to follow-up with her meeting due to her discomfort of situation

Initially, she asked a friend to accompany her to the meeting but the friend didn't turn up and Graham said she called Weinstein to postpone.

She alleged he tried to lie that the friend was there, but, she wrote, "I knew he was lying, so I politely and apologetically reiterated that I could no longer come by."

Graham maintained that she was never hired by Weinstein but she commended Judd for speaking up.

"While I still do feel guilty for not speaking up all those years ago, I'm glad for this moment of reckoning," she wrote.

Tomi-Ann Roberts


Tomi-Ann Roberts revealed of an incident when Weinstein invited her to his hotel room in 1984. She was 20 and was there for an audition.

Upon her arrival into the hotel room, she was shocked to see Weinstein nude in the bathtub.

She told The New York Times, he pressured her to remove her clothes, too but Roberts, who is now a professor, said she declined.

Judith Godrèche

Godrèche recalled an incident during the 1996 Cannes Film Festival when Weinstein invited her to breakfast on the pretext of discussing over her movie, which he was distributing.

Though a Miramax executive joined them for breakfast, Weinstein wanted to continue discussing the movie and asked her to go up to his suite at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roche.

He asked her for a massage in the room but she declined casually thinking it was common practice in America.

In return she was subjected to Weinstein's harassment she recalled, "The next thing I know, he's pressing against me and pulling off my sweater."

She was advised to keep it a secret by the female Miramax Executive, though she didn't yield to his sexual advances she was pressurized into maintaining a friendly relationship with him just for the sake of her career.

Zoë Brock

The model wrote on Medium Magazine about Weinstein's inappropriate advances in a room during the Cannes Film Festival in 1997.

"I wish I had thought there was something, anything, I could do to stop him from hurting women all these years, "she wrote as she came out in open on Oct 7.

She chastised Weinstein to wear his clothes back locking herself in the bathroom and stayed there until he put his robe back as he whimpered asking whether she rejected him because he was fat.

Though he sent a Thank-you note the next day asking her if he could give a career assistance, she said she declined his offer.
