Amal Clooney is making a lot of headlines these days, and unfortunately they are not the positive kind, either. George Clooney's wife - who is getting a lot of heat for making a legal big to save Colonel Gaddafi's "hated" son Saif Gaddafi - is said to be putting her career to the site for motherhood instead.

While she's not making headlines for representing the controversial Gaddafi and Libya's former intelligence chief Abdullah a-Sensussi for crimes committed against people in Libya - she's telling her friends that she wants to start a family with her Hollywood husband.

According to the New Zealand Herald a source close to the British beauty said, "Amal is proud not only to be the women that caught George after all these years, but also the only one he's considered having kids with ... [She] is more than ready to be a mother."

The insider goes on to say that even though Amal's career is red hot right now, if not also controversial, she's ready to put it on the backburner temporarily so she can concentrate on starting a family with George.

The source added, "They decided that it would be the right time. Amal isn't taking on extra work at the moment and just continuing with the cases she has. This is something they really want."

So far, neither George nor Amal have made any comments about the rumors.
