Things have continually seemed to improve when it comes to Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett's scandal-rocked marriage, but the former NFL pro's refusal to take a polygraph test while in therapy could open the couple up to criticisms that they are lying about what really happened between him and a transsexual model last year.

Kendra Wilkinson Admits She's Not Fond Of PDA With Hank Baskett

In a new clip for Marriage Boot Camp, the two are asked to take a lie detector test, something Wilkinson seems game for-but her husband is a lot more hesitant to do so, citing the legal case he is trying to build against Ava London for events which transpired them, including her recording a phone conversation with Baskett against his knowledge.

"This is my opportunity to prove to Kendra, but I'm dealing with an investigation and legal issues right now," he says in the clip. "I don't know if taking a lie detector here could get in the way of fighting this once we leave Marriage Boot Camp."

Kendra Wilkinson Admits Fears Hank Baskett Will Kill Himself

However, both Wilkinson and counselor Elizabeth Carroll are having a hard time buying his excuse.

"Hank, you keep saying that this is a way to clear your name," Wilkinson says. "This is your chance right now...Are you scared?"

"I've cleared my name with you," he replies. "Kendra, you told me to step up and fight and that's what I'm trying to do right now."

Baskett continues to defend himself when Carroll then asks him if he's just trying to make excuses to avoid the test.

"I'm definitely not using this as an excuse," he claims. "If [my lawyer] says do it, I'll do it. I'll happily take a polygraph test for you and if we go to court, I'll take 10 of them for you. I finally feel like I can step up and fight this person."
