AskMen.com named actress Jennifer Lawrence the "most desirable woman of 2013" on Tuesday based on an international poll, passing on the honor from 2012's winner Sofia Vergara.

"The Hunger Games" star rose to the top of the list from No. 47 last year and AskMen Editor-in-Chief, James Bassil, said the 22-year-old has something that makes her stand out among other Hollywood stars.

"There's a sense that she's a little more authentic than other actors," Bassil said. "She's fresh because we haven't seen her all over the gossip pages for the past three or four years."

The poll asked 2.4 million readers to vote on which celebrity they would choose as a prospective partner, according to the website. Vergara, last year's winner, was ranked this time around as No. 12 and Kim Kardashian ranked No. 98.

Lawrence has been dating British actor Nicholas Hoult, 22, since the two met on the set of 2011′s "X-Men: First Class."  She graced the December 2012 cover of Elle magazine and talked about living an extravagant lifestyle as a Hollywood actress, such as living in a million dollar mansion.

"Ten million dollars and I'm still living in my parents' condo," she said. "I've always lived in a tiny rat-infested apartment in New York, or a little condo in L.A., or a normal house in Kentucky. I think it would be very bizarre to live in a big mansion by myself."

About training for her role in "The Hunger Games" and its sequel, Lawrence said she pushed herself hard but that she would never starve herself for a movie role. She said it is something she is "really conscious," saying, "[while training] "I was trying to get my body to look fit and strong- not thin and underfed."

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is currently filming and expected to come out in 2013.
