The holiday shopping season is quickly approaching and one major retailer has officially unveiled specific plans for how they intend to lure shoppers into their stores.  

Wal-Mart Reveals Helpful Gift Guides Ahead Of Holiday Shopping Season

Kohl's has announced their official plans for a large number of deals they will run throughout the holiday shopping season, as well as concurrently with their Black Friday promotions, which have not been released just yet.  

"Kohl's will deliver a new holiday shopping experience this year that is faster, more convenient and more inspiring than ever before," Kevin Mansell, Kohl's chairman, CEO and President said in a statement to the press. "Our customers will find a personalized and engaging shopping experience in store and across all devices, an extensive assortment of sought-after national and private brands for the entire family and incredible savings opportunities throughout the season, making Kohl's the holiday shopping destination for families this year."

Among the ways the company is planning to help customers save are new roll-out incentives to sign up for a Kohl's Charge and Yes2You Rewards, which will give customers discounted offers they can combine at the register. In addition stores will also increase the amount of time customers can earn $15 Kohl's Cash for every $50 spent, making the offer valid the entire week of Black Friday, instead of just during the specific sale.  

They will also upgrade their Buy Online, Pick up in Store /Ship from store process, and is increasing their presence among mobile devices and apps, with a new Store Tools mode in the Kohl's mobile app which will give shoppers a more customized experience in stores, and allow them to digitally store all gift cards, Kohl's cash and savings offers and Yes2You Rewards for easy access. Customers will also have a virtual shopping bag they can access on all mobile devices, meaning they can shop from each device without having to add items into different shopping bags.  

The company also plans to step-up their selection of licensed products that are sure to be hot buts, including popular Disney toys, Star Wars products, electronics from Samsung and Sony, and even top beauty brands as well.  

The company did not reveal their specific plans for Black Friday itself.
