Frank Basti—the man behind BoycottKim.com, a site dedicated to encouraging Americans to boycott anything and everything Kardashian, might be faker than the booty he’s trying to defame—he’s a con man.

According to TMZ, Basti is just off parole for mail fraud conviction for sending noticed to 5,000 California car dealerships claiming they owed large amounts of money to the DMV, and ordering them to pay up. He served federal prison jail time. Several months later, he launched BoycottKim.com to stop reality TV star Kim Kardashian from ‘exploiting the American Public and Media for personal and financial gain.’

The sites boats extreme numbers of people signing the boycott petition—over 650,000—but according to Compete.com, a major website traffic estimator, only 24k unique visitors went to the site in Dec. and another 20k in Nov. Liar, liar.

Basti told TMZ that the numbers also attribute to previous sites as well as his Facebook page, and insists he does not profit from the site.

Looks like Basti and his frenemy have more in common than they think.
