Miley Cyrus and her fiance Liam Hemworth caught a flight on Friday, Jan. 11, with the actor's family and the former Disney star was very helpful with Hemsworth's nieces throughout the airport check-in process.

Cyrus, 20, and Hemsworth, who turned 23 on Jan, 13, were spotted walking through LAX Airport with Hemsworth's older brother, Luke Hemsworth, his wife Samantha and their daughters Holly, Ella and Harper Rose.

Cyrus wore a red top under a grey cardigan and black leather pants with open-toe flat, cream-colored sandals. Liam sported a grey hoodie, jeans, sneakers and a navy baseball cap.

The "Can't Be Tamed" singer was photographed taking turns carrying Holly and Ella and held their hands through the airport terminal while Liam was shown on the side tending to their luggage.

Though it was not reported where the couple and Liam's family were traveling to, the actor's birthday was two days away and several reports speculated that the family took a vacation in celebration. In honor of his birthday, Cyrus tweeted on Jan. 13, "PS I will let him know how many of our fans have sent such sweet b-day messages ❤ you da best." 

The couple met on the set of "The Last Song" in 2010. Since then, Cyrus' acting career has taken a backseat while she focuses on performing and releasing new music.

She gave a very talked about performance in December of 2012 with a topless stripper while onstage with Israeli dubstep DJ Borgore. She collaborated with DJ Borgore on the track "Decisions" and even starred in the music video alongside porn star Jessie Andrews. Her fourth studio album comes out in 2013 and features collaborations with hip-hop producer Pharrell Williams, rapper Mac Miller and others, according to Us Weekly. She also performed at VH1's "Divas" concert on Dec. 16, 2012.

Liam's film 'The Hunger Games" picked up five awards on Jan. 9, at the People's Choice Awards, including Favorite Movie. Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam won Favorite On-Screen Chemistry.

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is currently filming, according to IMDb, as well as Liam's other film "Paranoia." He stars in a film called "Arabian Nights" expected to be released in 2014.
