Marvel's Doctor Strange officially has its main villain.

'Doctor Strange' Movie: Three New Filming Locations Announced, Is Marvel Coming To Your City?

The Internet has been rife with rumors regarding Mads Mikkelsen's role in the 2016 film, and Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige has finally revealed exactly what the Hannibal alum is up to.

As Benedict Cumberbatch's eponymous character delves into the world of sorcery, he will come under the tutelage of the Ancient One (Tilda Swinton). Together, the pair will delve into the multiverse and, as they do so, work to keep the evils of other dimensions at bay.

"Mads' character is a sorcerer who breaks off into his own sect," Feige informed Entertainment Weekly. "[He] believes that the Ancient One is just protecting her own power base and that the world may be better off if we were to allow some of these other things through."

Feige has piqued our interest, but the Marvel boss is still holding back one piece of vital info - the name of Mikkelsen's character. Fans have floated multiple possible identities over the last few months, but Marvelites have yet to guess correctly.

"No one has quite picked the name that we've chosen for him," executive producer Stephen Broussard teased. "It would be fun to conceal that, if we can."

Doctor Strange will hit theaters on Nov. 4.
