Kristen Stewart Hit Ellie Goulding Concert While Robert Pattinson Films In Australia (PHOTO)
Kristen Stewart has been keeping herself busy since her boyfriend Robert Pattinson went to Australia last month to film his next movie.
Stewart, 23, was photographed with British singer Ellie Goulding after she attended her concert in Los Angeles on Feb. 9. Goulding took the photo of herself hanging out with Stewart and a group of friends and posted it on Instagram. In the picture, Goulding and their pals are smiling while Stewart, clad in her signature baseball cap turned backward and wearing horn-rimmed glasses, hid her face behind a male friend.
Golding may have struck up a friendship with Stewart after she lent her vocals on the Twilight Saga- Breaking Dawn Part 2 soundtrack. The actress was spotted at a previous Goulding show in Los Angeles last November.
A source close to Stewart revealed that the actress went to the concert on a girls' night out to help keep her mind off of Pattinson because Goulding's music helps her feel 'closer' to him.
"Kristen went with a bunch of her friends to see Ellie Goulding's sold-out concert on Saturday night at the Wiltern Theater," an insider told Hollywood Life. "Kristen adores Ellie and loves her music. Ellie reminds Kristen of happier times and I do think her music makes Kristen feel closer to Rob."
"Kristen seemed really happy to be with girlfriends listening to music. They were backstage most of the time just having fun," the source added.
Another source told Hollywood Life what else Stewart has been up to occupy her time as the British hunk films The Rover 8,000 miles away.
"Kristen has been a homebody and continues to spend most of her time with her dogs - which make her feel closer to Rob - since they are like their kids," another insider said.
Stewart and Pattinson are still going strong according to an earlier report. The couple has been keeping their romance alive by using sexy Skype sessions to maintain their temporary long distance relationship. Stewart has reportedly appeared naked on-camera on the messaging site to keep things steamy with the 26-year-old.
"No doubt their sexy sessions have saved them," an insider close to the couple reportedly told OK! "With Skype, they'll share their day with each other and flirt outrageously."
"Kristen loves coming on [screen] wearing one of his shirts or even his boxer shorts and nothing else," the source added. "As she often says, she does love getting into his pants!"
