Well, 2015 has come and gone (almost), but before we kick off 2016-we at Enstars would like to take a moment to rundown the top twenty entertainment stories of the year, as selected by us.

Enjoy!

Bruce Jenner’s Major Transition to Caitlyn

Even before the news was confirmed via an interview with Diane Sawyer in April, there was lots of speculation that Bruce would be undergoing a major change. Caitlyn was then introduced on the cover of Vanity Fair. Prominent awards, including the controversial Glamour’s Woman of the Year and the ESPY Arthur Ashe Courage Award, soon followed, with occasional backlash.

The Fall of Bill Cosby

2015 was a year full of scandals, to say the least, but the rising storm of allegations against iconic comedian and actor Bill Cosby was probably the biggest. Dozens upon dozens of women accused him of assaulting them. From famous models like Janice Dickinson to the everyday women who said they'd previously been too afraid to stand up to Cosby, the accusations have tainted his career like never before, resulting in numerous lawsuits and even his eventual arrest.

The Death of Bobbi Kristina Brown

Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston’s only child, Bobbi Kristina Brown, was found unconscious in her bathtub in early 2015. She died in an Atlanta hospice center roughly six months later after being in a medically induced coma for about 12 weeks. Police in the area have dubbed it a criminal investigation. While he has not been arrested yet, her family is suing her longtime boyfriend Nick Gordon for $10 million, blaming him for her death.

Blake Shelton & Miranda Lambert Divorce

Country music fans were devastated when Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert announced they were getting a divorce after four years of marriage. Adding to the shock was that the couple announced the news on the same day that things were finalized, meaning there was no time for the public to process news of the split at all. However, despite the breakup, neither Shelton nor Lambert seems to be slowing down as both have since begun to embrace the dating scene again. Shelton has been dating his The Voice co-star Gwen Stefani (herself also fresh off a divorce from Gavin Rossdale) since at least November, and Lambert is reportedly dating musician Anderson East.

Ben Affleck & Jennifer Garner Divorce

Bennifer 2.0 broke hearts everywhere when they announced they would be splitting up after a decade of marriage--just one day after celebrating their 10th anniversary back in June. However, the two have been somewhat unconventional with their proceedings for the sake of their three kids together--Violet, Seraphina and Samuel. Though they aren't back together, they are still living in the same house (albeit in separate quarters) and keeping things as amicable as possible for their kids.

Fall Of The House Of Duggar

One of the most fascinating families to watch on reality TV, the Duggars, fell from grace hard in 2015 and it was pretty all due to one member: Eldest son Josh. Everything started in May for the clan when Josh, was revealed to have molested several young girls as a teen--including his own sisters. The scandal caused TLC to immediately yank the family's show, 19 Kids and Counting, off the air. But it didn't end there. As more came out about the scandal, it was revealed that not only did Josh's parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, not really do anything about the situation when it first occurred, but the family all jumped to his defense. The show was eventually canceled in July--but that still wasn't the end of the scandal. After the hacking of extra-marital affairs site Ashley Madison, Josh was revealed to have had an account on the site and he quickly confessed to having cheated on his wife, Anna. He entered a center for treatment of his sex addiction soon after. And yet the scandal still didn't die down entirely, with a porn star filing a lawsuit against Josh in November, claiming he physically assaulted her twice during consensual sex that got too rough.

Gwen Stefani & Gavin Rossdale Divorce

After 13 years of marriage and three children together, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale announced their marriage was coming to an end in August. Then, months later, Us Weekly reported news of Rossdale's possible affair with the couple's former nanny, Mindy Mann.

Lamar Odom’s Overdose

In October, former NBA star and husband to reality celebrity Khloe Kardashian Lamar Odom was found unconscious from a drug overdose at a legal brothel in Nevada. After spending a few days in a coma, Odom awoke and was transferred to Los Angeles, where he continues to recover. The salacious nature of the health crisis, coupled with Odom’s ties to the first family of 21st century celebrity, the revelation that he and Khloe were still technically married (even though she was dating Houston Rockets’ shooting guard James Harden) and her rushing to his bedside only added fuel to the tabloid story fire.

Teresa Giudice Goes To And Gets Out Of Prison

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star was thrown behind bars in January, after pleading guilty to charges of bank and wire fraud months earlier, and she was released from custody just last week. While in prison, Giudice penned a memoir, Turning The Tables: From Housewives to Inmate and Back Again, which will be released on February.

Nina Dobrev Leaving The Vampire Diaries

The Vampire Diaries has easily become a guilty pleasure for many since it first hit airwaves in 2009. Unfortunately, fans of the series were in for quite the shock in April when female lead Nina Dobrev announced the current season would be her last. She had been through a lot as her multiple characters throughout the duration, but her portrayal of Elena Gilbert was the epicenter of the series for so long that her departure led to a shift in the storylines. On the bright side, Elena isn’t dead (Thanks supernatural world! She’s in a spellbound slumber tied to Bonnie [Kat Graham]) so maybe there is hope that one day Dobrev will reprise her role in the future.

McDreamy’s Death On Grey’s Anatomy

Shonda Rhimes ripped out the hearts of many Grey’s Anatomy viewers during this year’s episode “How to Save a Life": Dr. Derek “McDreamy” Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) was tragically killed off without any sense of warning (Okay, there was some gossip that Dempsey would be departing from the medical series, but he and Dr. Meredith Grey [Ellen Pompeo] were mending their battered relationship). On the bright side, Grey’s Anatomy got a clean slate to start telling the tale of a widow in mourning and more.

Zayn Malik Leaves One Direction

One Direction has easily surpassed all other boy bands that have come before it in terms of success, but Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Harry Styles even paved their own path (Hello no choreographed dancing or matching outfits). So when Malik decided to leave the British-Irish band in March, mouths dropped open, tears were shed and people began wondering if the four remaining members could manage without him. The four remaining members put out a stellar album sans Malik and are now bound for a much-deserved hiatus to explore individual interests and, most importantly, get some rest after going nonstop since 2010. Furthermore, Malik’s solo music will soon drop so fans can look forward to that as well.

Adele Breaks Records

The British singer broke records and stole our hearts all over again with the release of her new album, 25. With the global success of the first single “Hello” and multiple weeks of selling over one million copies of her album, it’s safe to say we have a new Queen of Music.

Charlie Sheen's HIV Announcement

Charlie Sheen made the big announcement back in November that he was HIV positive amid rumors of an A-list star contracting the disease. Sheen came forward in a candid Today Show interview, making him one of the most well-known HIV-positive celebrities in the world.

Kanye West Announces He's Running For President

Kanye West collected the Video Vanguard trophy from the MTV VMAs this summer, and at the end of his rambling acceptance speech he made the bold proclamation that he was running for president in 2020. It remains to be seen if West will make good on his claim, but it’s possible we may have witnessed the birth of a bold new political leader.

Star Wars Returns!

With returning faces, a brand new cast and a massive mystery that remained under wraps until December, all the Star Wars geeks anticipated what would be waiting in the seventh film. And when it did come out, all the media sources had to be careful about revealing spoilers because *SPOILER ALERT* a lot went down.

Nicki Minaj vs MileyCyrus At The VMAs

Apparently, Miley Cyrus didn't put Nicki Minaj in the best light with the press before the VMA's this year. So Nicki exploited vengeance and called Miley out with her "What's good?!" comment after winning her award. That face ought to put anyone in the danger zone.

Jared Fogle Gets Busted

The former Subway spokesman got sentenced to 15 plus years in prison on charges of child pornography and sex with minors. It was unexpected that the guy from the Subway commercials would turn into a frightening scandal, but the stories just got creepier and creepier.

David Letterman Passes The Late Night Torch To Steven Colbert

For 22 years, David Letterman hosted the Late Show on CBS-arguably one of the greatest (and funniest) television shows of all time and the show that proves that Johnny Carson's legacy of The Tonight Show didn't have to be the only game in town. After airing over 4,000 episodes and inspiring a whole new generation of late night talk show, both on network and cable, Letterman hosted his final show on May 20, 2015 and on September 8, Stephen Colbert took over at the Late Show desk.

Scientology's Some Serious PR Problems

2015 wasn't the best year for Scientology. The religious movement founded by sci-fi writer L. Ron Hubbard in the 1950s had always been a subject of controversy. From the hyperbolic claims of benefits by its followers to the church's notorious tactics to fight critics, there was always SOMETHING about the organization that struck many as being "off." Mix that with the large percentage of celebrity members and you can see why it was all tabloid powder keg ready to blow. First, there was HBO's airing of Going Clear in March, the documentary based on the book of the same name detailed Scientology's salacious history and painted a disturbing picture of the leadership of David Miscavige (the current head of the church) with the help of many high-level former members. Then in November, former King of Queens star and ex-devout scientologist Leah Remimi published her memoir Troublemaker, in which she described why she left the church in 2013 and slammed Miscavige.
