Kim Kardashian appears in a fashion feature in the new issue of ELLE magazine but surprisingly, getting the reality star the luxury clothes she is accustomed to wearing was not an easy feat.

Kardashian, who appears in the March 2013 issue of the fashion publication, wore looks from top designers including Tom Ford, Oscar De La Renta and Roberto Cavalli, but according to her wardrobe stylist, many others would not provide looks for her to be photographed in.

Stylist Nicola Formichetti, who has worked with many A-list stars including Lady Gaga since 2009 and often collaborates with Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld, admitted that the reality star was snubbed by other fashion brands.

"People wouldn't lend me the clothes. But that's fashion snobbery," Formichetti told ELLE.

In the behind-the-scenes video below, Kardashian said working with Formichetti was a "dream come true."

"I love being transformed and I love your vision of who you think I am," Kardashian told the stylist in the video. "That's always so inspiring for me and so interesting seeing someone's take on me. When I work with someone I really respect, I work with trust," she said. "Even if I'm not comfortable in something, I trust your vision to push me a little bit."

The Kourtney & Kim Take Miami star discussed traveling for her career, saying that she'd rather "travel alone."

"I don't have an entourage and I'm sick of my family right now and they're my only entourage!" said Kardashian. "I like to vibe out by (myself) and sometimes when you have lots of people there, it gets in the way," she added.

The Armenian beauty unveiled the preview trailer for her Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor movie on Dec. 20. The 32-year-old couldn't contain her excitement about the flick that serves as a vehicle to her first big screen non-reality star role. The DASH boutique owner shared that the project was "an incredible" experience and thats she "couldn't wait" for the film's release in March. 

"Temptation Trailer is here!" Kardashian wrote on her blog. "I'm so excited to reveal the trailer for the new Tyler Perry movie I am in called Temptation, which debuted on Yahoo! Movies today!"

Kardashian will play Ava, a sexy co-worker to the film's main character, Judith. Ava, wears formfitting clothes and offers advice to her less stylish colleague; she eventually revamps Judith's image through a makeover.

Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor also star Vanessa Williams and coincidentally, a sibling of Kardashian's ex-boyfriend. Brandy Norwood is related to Kardashian's infamous sex tape co-star Ray J. The film was reportedly described by Perry as "a bold exploration of the intrigue and perils of infidelity."
